Dr. Nawaf M. Alotaibi obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Experimental Medicine from The University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada, where his thesis was on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). He then obtained specialized training in Internal Medicine and Respiratory Medicine at The University of British Columbia (UBC) and is Canadian board-certified in both specialties. Dr. Alotaibi then extended his expertise with a clinical fellowship in Asthma and Airway Respiratory Medicine at UBC. He has received several awards from the American Thoracic Society in recognition of his clinical research work. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society (ATS), Canadian Thoracic Society (CTS), European Respiratory Society (ERS), and the Saudi Thoracic Society (STS). Currently, Dr. Alotaibi is a pulmonology Consultant and an Assistant Professor at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
