English Language 2
Course Description:
An intensive course in English, designed for students of different majors to strengthen their language skills and to help them to acheive better in their diploma studies. Its credit hours are nine divided into three days.
Course Guidelines
Course Work: There will be a list of home assignments and quizzes that will be assigned throughout the semester. All the course work will be graded, and at the end of the semester you will be given a final grade (out of 10) for this work. All the given assignments should be submitted on time, otherwise the student will get zero.
Exams: There will be no make-up exam for those who have taken it. Once the in-term exam is taken, the student CAN NOT take it again under ANY circumstance. There will be a make-up exam only for those who were unable to take the exam due to verifiable excuses (extreme medical or social circumstances only). If a student also misses the make-up exam, she will get a “zero” and not be given another chance to take the make-up exam. Moreover, if a student misses both of the in-term exams, she will have to take only one make up exam at the end of the semester.
