introduction/brief CV

Hello

I am Dr.Norah Algarzae , an Assistant Professor of Physiology with a concentration in Neuroscience. I have a diverse teaching background, having held various roles, including adjunct positions at the University of Central Missouri, State Fair Community College, and Princess Noura University. My journey in academia began during my PhD at Howard University, where I served as a Graduate Assistant for three years.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am passionate about mentoring students in research. I have had the privilege of mentoring at three prestigious labs in the United States: Howard University College of Medicine , Georgetown University Neuroscience Department at the Lab of Dementia, and George Washington University Hospital at the Interventional Radiology Department and the Emergency Medicine Department. Witnessing students transform their potential into tangible work is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.

I have also been fortunate to receive mentorship at Howard University College of Medicine, Georgetown University College of Medicine, George Washington University Hospital, and the National Institutes of Health. These experiences have profoundly shaped my approach to education and mentorship, and I look forward to continuing this journey with my students.

Recently I have began to work in quality at King Saud University, and I have successfully been awarded the honor of being an Academic Quality Practitioner and a King Saud University Board of Accessor.
