Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering
This course is about understanding Biotechnology and genetic engineering by the use of living organisms to produce goods and services for practical and industrial purposes. The purpose of the course is to provide practical skills to students so that they are able to work with different biological samples, know how to maintain records, and observe and analyze information in the laboratory. Students will gain experience in techniques used to manipulate living cells and an overview of genetic engineering methods.
