512DENS Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology

Objectives of the Course

The overall goal of this course is to enhance the post graduate
student’s skills in correlating the clinical presentation, histological
interpretation and management of oral diseases.

At the end of this course, the students should be able to:
1- Describe satisfactorily concepts of diseases and disease processes.
2- Select the appropriate diagnostic method for specific lesion.
3- Formulate clinical differential diagnosis of oral diseases.
4- Interpret efficiently the different pathological findings.
5- Evaluate current scientific literature pertaining to a specific disease
entity.
