Education: Ph.D in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Research interests:
- Biochemical and molecular effects of cytotxic drugs and radiation in tumor cells
- Modes of cell death and their signaling processes
- Sensitization to apoptotic and autophagic cell death
- Development of therapeutic strategies to improve patients compliance to cytotoxic drugs via prevention of peripheral neuropathy and other serious side effects
