Maan Okayli has been an assistant professor of surveying engineering in the civil engineering department at King Saud University since August 2022. He holds a B.Sc. from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, since 2011. He also holds an MSCE degree in civil engineering, Geomatics Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, USA, and a Ph.D. in civil engineering, Geomatics Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2016 and 2022, respectively. Moreover, He conducts multiple research and teaches courses in many aspects of Geomatics. His main research area of interest is photogrammetry, along with Static and mobile LiDAR, Remote sensing and its applications, and collection and processing of geospatially-referenced sensor data (i.e., LiDAR and Photogrammetric) to support a variety of applications. He is focusing on infrastructural monitoring systems, such as bridge inspection.
