ENG 225 Foundations of Rhetoric and Writing
This course builds on the skills introduced in ENG 110 by offering a carefully structured approach to high-beginning academic writing. It provides instruction on paragraph organization, sentence structure, grammar, mechanics, and the writing process. It transitions students from personal writing to operational writing, which includes describing people, listing, giving instructions, describing places, stating reasons, using examples, and expressing opinions.
