My name is Mr. Mohammad Asif Alam. I have completed my Masters in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India 1985.Worked as R &D manager at Saudi Paint Co (PAINTCO) Riyadh 1986.Worked also at Saudi Linseed oil factory as technical manager1999. I was also employed at King Abdul Aziz city for Science & Technology KACST 2001 as Research & Development Chemist and developed various products for Saudi Industries such as Saudi Aramco. Joined Advance Manufacturing Institute (Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM) at King Saud University Riyadh 2009 and established a Coating Research & Development laboratory. I have more than 20 years of experience working for various Saudi Arabian Coating industries as R&D, production and technical manager. My area of expertise/ or Interest in organic and inorganic coatings (water based system as well as solvent based system). Presently, engaged in developing high performance epoxy and polyurethane Nano coatings for chemical and corrosion resistant applications. More than 20 years of diverse industrial and R & D experience. Published several papers and have a patent on Polyurethane nano-coating /2Pack (Automotive coating) in EUROPEAN PATENT APPLICATION. During the working period of above mentioned Industries, Several coating formulations were developed such as Epoxy/ 2Pack, and Polyurethane/2Pack, for various Industries Applications.
