Mohammad Mehedi Hassan, a Full Professor in the Information Systems Department at King Saud University's College of Computer and Information Sciences (CCIS), has made significant contributions to academia since obtaining his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2011. With over 375 publications, including 333 SCI/ISI-Indexed Journal papers and 42 conference papers, he stands out as a leading figure in Cloud/Edge computing, and Artificial Intelligence. Recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally and as one of the top 12 computer scientists in Saudi Arabia according to Research.com, he has received multiple prestigious awards such as the Distinguished Researcher Award from CCIS, KSU in 2020, and the Excellence in Research Award in 2015 and 2016. His accolades include the 2021 Outstanding Editors Award from the Future Generation Computer Systems journal, the Best Conference Paper Award from the IEEE International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Industry 4.0 (STI) in 2020, the Best Journal Paper Award from the IEEE Systems Journal in 2018, and the Best Conference Paper Award from the CloudComp conference in 2014. His leadership is further exemplified by his roles as chair and committee member in numerous esteemed international conferences, and his position on the editorial boards of several SCI/ISI-Indexed Journals such as Future Generation Computer Systems and Computers and Electrical Engineering Journal. His academic involvement also extends to being a guest editor for several international ISI-indexed journals. His research, underpinned by securing significant research grants and supervising Ph.D. and Master's students, solidifies his reputation as a preeminent academic and researcher. He is a currently a Senior Member of IEEE.
