ARCH 463 : Cities in Environmental Perspective
Course Description
This course will explain the complexity of environmental and social impacts of industry on the city and its urban fabric. The course also highlights the features of the research that will discuss the environmental problems and offer different solutions to avoid them; this includes topics such as reducing the "environmental impacts" inherited from the development, which cannot be controlled, as well as issues related to manufacturing. Experiences of the site, and the introduction of Green Architecture, Renewable Energy are also will be discussed. The required readings and discussions during the class will increase the theoretical aspects of the subject. The reports will be submitted in the form of presentations at research seminars. As well as readings and discussions, that will guide students through these ideas.
