Dr. Al Zamel is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at King Saud University. She is an Associate Fellow certified by the Higher Education Academy in the UK. Previously, she worked as a Research Fellow at University College London (UCL), focusing on Information Retrieval, Reinforcement Learning, Complex Communication, and AI for Health in collaboration with Google. Dr. Al Zamel has also served as a guest editor for the Information and Computation Journal at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), among other contributions. Her research interests lie in Algorithms and Data Analysis, particularly at the intersection of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Motivating applications include business and healthcare.
