Monira Alwhaibi, MS, Ph.D., is Associate Professor at the Clinical Pharmacy Department, and co-director of medication safety research chair, King Saud University. She received her Ph.D. degree in 2016 from West Virginia University, United States. Dr. Alwhaibi’s primary areas of research interests include health services research, with particular emphasis on pharmacoepidemiology, medication use, looking at issues of prevalence, drugs safety, mental health, oncology, cost-analysis of drugs in healthcare systems, and complementary and alternative medicine use. Dr.Alwhaibi had more than fourty publications on these areas. Dr.Alwhaibi is proficient in handling large healthcare data healthcare (Claims Databases, EMR /electronic health data, clinical data, etc.). Dr.Alwhaibi is also skilled in using SQL, Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), and STATA.
