Pathophysiology for Emergency Care - EMS 226

This course includes fundamentals of general and systemic pathophysiology such as cellular environment, tissue injury, inflammation, hypoperfusion, self-defence mechanisms, most common systemic diseases, genetics and familial diseases, variances in immunity and inflammation, stress and disease. At the completion of this course, the student will be able to apply the concepts of general and systemic pathophysiology for the assessment and management of emergency patients.
