introduction/brief CV

An academic and executive advisor specializing in accounting and sustainability, with over 14 years of professional and research experience in policy development and applied practice. He serves as Chair of the Accounting Department at the College of Business Administration, King Saud University, and works as an advisor to the Saudi Capital Market Authority on strategic initiatives related to sustainable investments and the development of regulatory frameworks to enable third-sector investments within the capital market. 

 

He began his career as an external auditor at Deloitte & Touche, and later worked as a researcher at Durham University with Professor Carol Adams. His research has been published in Q1-ranked academic journals, and he supervises doctoral dissertations in accounting, governance, and sustainable investment.
