ENG 613_Semantics and Pragmatics

The course analyzes language from two different but interrelated perspectives. It examines the boundary between semantics and pragmatics and the different approaches to meaning in language and language use. The focus is on how semantics and pragmatics can help us understand human linguistic behavior.
