This course is a survey of topics in the social and behavioral sciences as they apply to pharmacy practice. It is a part of a 2 course series that introduce the Medication Therapy Management service (MTMS) to optimize therapeutic outcomes through appropriate drug use, enhanced patient understanding of appropriate drug use, increased patient adherence with prescribed drug therapies, and reduced risk of adverse events associated with drugs.
