Plant Mineral Nutrition (BOT-572)

Course Objectives: 

• To know the detail role and function of plant nutrients in plant metabolism -at all key-steps, physiological and molecular levels. 
• Manage inorganic fertilizers and green manures in order to improve crop productivity and to minimize nutrients leaching/loss to the environment. 
• Understand key-points of process involved in nutrient uptake, transport and assimilation in plants
