RESEARCH AND TEACHING EXPERIENCE

  1. I am having research and teaching experience of more than 11 years, excluding my Ph.D.
  2.  I worked as an Assistant Professor at King Abdullah Intitule For Nanotechnology from 18 May 2010 to 01 March 2015.
  3. I worked as a Project Fellow at Inter-University Accelerator University Center, New Delhi, India, between 08 April 2007 and 19 April 2010.
  4. I have three years of experience in the usage of Swift Heavy Ion (SHI) irradiation technique using the 15UD-Pelletron facility to tune the properties of the powder and thin-film materials by irradiation of SHI beams and their characterization such as structural, transport electrical, and magnetic and optical properties concerning the pristine sample.

MY RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests encompass a multifaceted exploration of functional oxides' transport, electromagnetic and optical properties, exceptionally soft and hard ferrites, and dilute magnetic semiconductors. Delving into the intricacies of Ferromagnetic/Ferrimagnetic ordering, spin canting, spin pinning effects, cation distribution, and size effects within magnetic materials forms a core aspect of my investigations.

In addition to theoretical analysis, my work extends to practical applications by synthesising diverse soft and hard ferrite materials and diluting magnetic semiconductors in pure and doped forms across various nanostructures of different shapes and sizes. Utilizing techniques such as thin film deposition and the fabrication of magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs), I aim to construct high-density data storage solutions with remarkable Giant Magneto Resistance (GMR) and high transmission magneto-resistance (TMR) ratios. These innovations hold promise for next-generation non-volatile memories (MRAM) and biosensors tailored for protein and molecular detection.

A significant focus of my research lies in harnessing hard ferrite materials for developing multilayer chip inductors, addressing critical needs in EMI shielding and microwave interference mitigation across higher band frequencies. Additionally, my efforts extend to the deposition of Yttrium Iron Garnet thin films, enhancing the magneto-optic Faraday effect to expand their utility in advanced telecommunication technologies.

Beyond magnetic materials, I am engaged in unravelling the fundamental properties of nanomaterials, examining their structural, morphological, optical, transport, electrical, and magnetic characteristics. This comprehensive understanding enables me to explore the impact of doping on material properties, particularly within functional oxides, and to drive innovations in modern technology applications spanning high-density data storage, microwave absorption, resistors, and a myriad of sensor types, including bio and gas sensors. Moreover, I am passionate about leveraging these advancements in biomedical domains, such as targeted drug delivery, MRI agents, hyperthermia treatment, and monitoring cancer activity.

Expanding my research horizon, I am actively involved in fabricating and designing materials tailored for efficient solar cells, leveraging materials like perovskite and Graphene, and advancing supercapacitor technology for energy storage applications. Furthermore, my exploration extends to unconventional realms, such as developing a dip-coating technique to transform insulating cotton material into conductive fabric, paving the way for integrating smart wearable garments with intricate electrical circuitry designs.
