Dr Khulood Alyahya is an expert in artificial intelligence (AI), optimisation, and robust decision-making with over 15 years of experience, including 10 years in the UK. Enthusiastic about innovation and entrepreneurship, she is also an active angel investor in the tech industry. Dr Alyahya is passionate about driving transformative change through innovative AI strategies and solutions. She has led data-driven projects across diverse sectors, including healthcare, finance, telecoms, public utilities, and transport.

As an active member of the scientific community, she serves as a reviewer for prestigious conferences and journals and organises workshops on the latest research in optimisation and robust decision-making. Her blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience enables her to bridge the gap between theory and practice in developing data-driven solutions.

Dr Alyahya is dedicated to mentoring and empowering the next generation of researchers and practitioners. She has supervised over 80 undergraduate and postgraduate students, many of whom have gone on to successful careers in both industry and academia.
