MID 325: Health Care Informatics

This course provides a systematic application of information science and technology to support women’s care and provide leadership within health care systems and/or academic settings. Emphasis is on the use of information systems/technology to evaluate programs of care, outcomes of care, and care systems to inform quality improvement, financial decision-making, selection and evaluation of information systems and patient care technology, and related ethical, regulatory, and legal issues.
