IT505 - Research Methods

This course introduces students to a number of research methods useful
for academic and professional investigations of information practices, texts and technologies, and executing a research methodology, as well as a critically informed assessment of published research. This course also covers the philosophy of research, qualitative and quantitative research, accessing and evaluating research materials, peer reviewing, assessing outcomes and dissemination.
