Course Name: Introduction to Autism Disorders
Introduction to Autism

Course Number and Symbol: 275 special. Credits: 3 units.

Objectives of the course:
1 - Definition Autism from the viewpoint of various associations.
2 - Definition by the spread of autism disorders and their causes.
3 - definition of general characteristics of children with autism, and disorders associated with the basic.
4 - the methods of diagnosis of autism definition, and classification, and its relationship to other disorders: mental Kalaaaqh.
5 - definition of patterns of classroom behavior of children with autism.
6 - definition of autism treatment methods and strategies for teaching autistic children.
Vocabulary Rapporteur:
1. The concept of autism and definitions of diverse views
2. The causes of autism disorders and the proportion of its spread and its relationship with some variables.
3. Forms of autism and similar developmental disorders.
4. General characteristics in terms of: characteristics of cognitive, linguistic, social, and physical and health.
6. Behavioral disorders and emotional core of autism cases
7. Diagnosis of autism using the tests of formal and informal, such as:
8. Relationship with other autism disorders, including: mental retardation, schizophrenia childhood, and communication disorder.

Rating
The assessment of the student on a set of requirements, as follows:
1. Prepare a report after a field visit to the Institute / Autism program.
2. Students will be divided into equal groups to discuss various topics related to the decision.
3. Examinations: In addition to the final exam, there will be one exam quarterly.
4. Absence: will be taking attendance and absenteeism after 5 minutes of the beginning of each lecture.
Distribution of grades
1. Field visit report 10 degrees
2. Group work 10 degrees
3. Quarterly exam 30 degrees
4. The final exam 50 degrees
