 Course general Description:

Hands-on introduction to the plants of Saudi Arabia, with an emphasis on identification and a focus on the flowering plants. Includes taxonomy, morphology, distribution, habitat, ecology, and values. Takes several day-long and half-day field trips. Evaluation includes a plant collection, field notebook, quiz, a presentation, a short research project presented orally or online plus lecture and lab exams.
