Engineering and environment is one of the essential courses in engineering which deals with our local and global environments applying most of the established scientific and engineering principles for better life, green environment and durable infrastructure. Teaching this course will not only enrich our students’ knowledge of ecosystems but also instill in their minds how to protect our communities. Moreover, they learn how to protect our natural resources from any threats through controlling wastes, maintaining air and water free of pollutants for healthier society. They become environmentally aware of detrimental human, agricultural and industrial activities, which are toxic to the environment and lead to potential climate changes.
