Dr. Fahad Mohammed Aldakheel is an associate professor of clinical immunology and allergy in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences (King Saud University). He received his Ph.D. degree in Immunology and Allergy from the University of Melbourne (Melbourne - Australia) and a MSc. in medical laboratory (Specialty: Transfusion & Transplantation Medicine) from the Royal Melbourne University of Technology (Melbourne - Australia), and BSc. in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from King Saud University (Riyadh - Saudi Arabia).
His academic and practical interests focus on the analysis of immune biomarkers of immunological and allergic disorders, oxidative stress, breath analysis, cancer immunology, and blood transfusion.
Dr. Aldakheel has several publications in scientific journals and local and international conferences, in addition to his participation in the arbitration of many scientific works in the field of specialization.
He involves in coordinating and teaching academic courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, in addition to supervising and arbitrating of master students' theses.
Dr. Aldakheel currently works as the Vice Dean for Development and Quality (College of Nursing, King Saud University), as well as the Director of the Research Center (College of Applied Medical Sciences, King Saud University). He also works as the Executive Director of the Saudi Society for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (SSCLS).
