Description

This course develops and enhances computer modeling skills (3D modeling, rendering, and presentation) through lectures and hands-on experience in using computer applications.
 

Instruction and Techniques

Lectures introduce conceptual and theoretical issues regarding CAD, practical sessions develop skills and techniques needed to prepare and represent architectural design projects.
Throughout the course, exercises are implemented and submitted in each lab. During the final phases of the course, students submit a model of a project of their own design.
 

Requirements

Participation
Attendance, participation, and interaction: Students' attendance at lectures and studios is not limited to personal attendance, but rather to positive participation and interaction in their activities.
 
Exercises

The course includes weekly practical exercises, which the student must complete in the studio within the allocated timeframe. These exercises will be submitted and assessed on the same day. In some cases, the student may improve their grade by developing or re-doing the exercises as homework, which will be included in the final assessment of the coursework.

Under this requirement, the student also engages in self-learning activities, where they research and independently study one of the course topics or applications and present a practical presentation on it.

 
Midterm Exam
Covers what has been studied up to the date of its convening, and may includes a theoretical and practical aspect.
 
Term Project
The course includes a semester project in which the student completes a specific task within the course topics.
 
Final Exam
The course has a final exam requirement according to university regulations, and its time and place are determined according to the exam schedule at the end of the semester.
