Course Description: This course of General Pathophysiology is a general course based on the fundamentals of pathology. The course is intended for students of College of Nursing taking their Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. General concepts of Pathophysiology will be discussed with appropriate coverage of general pathological processes in our body due to cellular stress that may be chemical, biological and environmental in nature. A review of the most common diseases of various organ system will adequate into understanding the causes, mechanisms, clinical manifestation and diagnosis in perspective of the pathophysiology of the organ system.
