  • Associate Professor – Finance (Since June 2011) in the College of Business Administration (CBA*), King Saud University (KSU**), Assistant Professor from Oct.2009 to June 2011.
  • Rich academic, research, and industry experience of over 27 years (19 years post-Ph.D. Experience).
  • Outstanding excellence award in effective teaching in 2024 and 2015 (CBA*, KSU**).
  • Outstanding excellence award in research in the academic year 2024 (CBA*, KSU**).
  • Outstanding excellence award in international accreditation (AACSB) in the academic year 2024 and 2016 (CBA*, KSU**).

  • I blend information technology into the finance curriculum (e.g., by unifying Pearson My Finance Lab, McGraw Hill Connect, and LMS or Blackboard and Edugate).
  • I use case studies from HBSP (Harvard Business School Publishing), ECCH (European Case Clearing House), and Ivey Publishing. I’ve been an Instructor member of HBSP, Ivey, and ECCH.
  • Each course deals with the application of Excel Spreadsheets and financial calculators.
  • My current research interests are ESG, SDGs, Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, Banking, Financial Markets, and related fields.
  • CBA is accredited by AACSB (since 2016) and the National Accreditation Body (NCAAA), a prominent business school in Saudi Arabia and GCC.
