An Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence with a strong background in academia and higher education. The journey in education began in 1993, including significant contributions to teaching and developing programs that supported students, including those with hearing disabilities. Additionally, I had the privilege of serving as an educational supervisor, leading and overseeing initiatives designed to empower individuals with disabilities across Saudi Arabia.
Since 2010, I have been part of King Saud University (KSU), starting as a lecturer and advancing through roles that include teaching, supervising postgraduate students (Master's and PhD), and contributing to various administrative tasks.
My academic work at KSU also encompasses active involvement in research, with a primary focus on the application of Artificial Intelligence applying artificial intelligence, particularly computer vision and data science techniques, to real-world problems including medical imaging and diagnosis. My research areas further extend to Image Processing, Data Science, User Experience Design, and Accessibility. I have published in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to collaborative research projects, and presented findings at international conferences.
