introduction/brief CV

Lecturer of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, MSc, CLS, CAMS, KSU.

Microbiology Unit Supervisor, Central Research Laboratory, KSU
Certified in Infection Control (CPIC).

areas of expertise

I am well-versed in oral biofilm research and its complex interactions with the immune system, especially the role of neutrophils. My doctoral work has contributed significant advancements to our understanding of the dynamic interplay between oral pathogens and host immune defenses. In my capacity as the supervisor of the Microbiology Unit at the Central Research Laboratory of King Saud University, my expertise has broadened to include the functional analysis of nanoparticles, investigating their potential applications and interactions on a microscopic scale. Currently, as a lecturer in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department, I have had the honor of being the founder and leading the Microbiology Research Lab. These dual roles enable me to disseminate knowledge effectively and lead cutting-edge research in microbial pathogenesis and the mechanisms of immunological defense.
