Ayed Alqahtani is currently an assistant professor at the Computer Engineering Departement (CEN) at the College of Computer and Information Sciences (CCIS) at King Saud University (KSU). He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of California, Irvine. in 2019. He received his M.Sc. degree in computer and information sciences from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2010. He received his B.Sc. degree in computer and information sciences from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2007. Since 2007, he joined the Department of Computer Engineering, as a lecturer, in King Saud University. From 2010 to 2014, he worked as project consultant and engineer in both of Advanced Electronic Company (AEC) and Al-ELM Information Security Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His current research interests include computer architecture, reliability of embedded systems, network-on chip, machine learning, computer security and 3D integrated circuits.
