Bio
Professor of Botany and faculty member, Department of Botany and Microbiology, College of Science, since 1973.
He teaches courses in botany, especially plant ecology, for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students, in addition to supervising master and doctoral dissertations.
He has many types of research published in refereed scientific journals locally and internationally. He has also published many university books specialized in the field of plant ecology. He has also participated in writing unified and developed general education books for the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
And he was honoured on several occasions, the most recent of which was obtaining the King Saud University Award for Scientific Excellence, a branch of the award for the best author’s book, branch of science and engineering disciplines, in 2016.
