SE 413
This course provides students with a comprehensive foundation in satellite geodesy and the principles underlying Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). It equips students with the knowledge and skills to collect, process, and analyze surveying data from systems such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou. The curriculum covers GNSS system operations, types of observables, fundamental position estimation techniques, and error sources and their mitigation. Students will also explore diverse GNSS applications and gain hands-on experience in data collection and processing methods, preparing them for advanced roles in surveying and geospatial analysis.
