Azzam A. Alsuhaibani, PhD, CPA, SOCPA, CISA
Dr. Azzam Alsuhaibani is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Auditing at King Saud University, with a long experience in academia, government, and private industry. With a Ph.D. in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University and certifications including CPA, SOCPA, and CISA, Dr. Alsuhaibani merges his academic expertise with substantial professional accomplishments across diverse sectors.

Academic Leadership
In his academic role, Dr. Alsuhaibani has contributed extensively to curriculum design, research supervision, and the development of strategic programs at King Saud University. His research interests include financial reporting, auditing standards, Continuous Auditing, Continuous Monitoring, and managerial accounting's role in strategic decision-making. His collaborations with government and private institutions further strengthen his contributions to advancing accounting practices and corporate governance.

Dr. Alsuhaibani has led Change Managements, Training, and Development for a critical public sector project, notably the nationwide shift to accrual-based accounting for over 500 government entities in Saudi Arabia. His expertise in change management and public sector accounting has been instrumental in enhancing transparency, accountability, and financial reporting standards across government entities. Additionally, his advisory roles for various government bodies have supported strategic financial planning and performance optimization in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

Private (Industrial) Experience
In the private sector, Dr. Alsuhaibani has served as Group CFO and Senior Financial Consultant for prominent holding companies, overseeing subsidiaries in retail, logistics, technology, and marketing. His leadership in financial planning, internal control, and strategic analysis has driven significant growth, including a 300% increase in sales through enhanced financial strategies and operational improvements. His work includes implementing ERP systems, optimizing liquidity, and developing robust risk management frameworks to support sustainable growth.
