CEN 490 Engineering Design and Project Management

In this course, the student learns the engineering design process starting from collecting the customer needs until designing and building the actual system. The design process involves comparing the possible solutions for the problem, building the decision matrix to choose the best design, testing the system to make sure it meets the customer need. The other part of the course introduces the project management skills such cost management, time management and working within a team.
