PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prof. El-Shafei got four patents in new desalination techniques and published fifty-five peer-reviewed papers including 21 research papers in ISI. He has supervised ten M.Sc. and three Ph.D. students. He has extensive teaching and researching experience on various desalination, agricultural hydrology, irrigation systems and drainage engineering courses and research.
He worked as associate trainer at Faculty Leadership Development Center (FLDC), Alexandria University for several programs such as Project Management, Evaluation, Monitoring; Innovative in Problem Solving and Decision Making, etc.
He has extensive experience in consultation and engineering works.He is expertise in designing, planning, preparing the tender documents, and consulting for about 34 international projects in the field of landscape engineering, golf, greenhouses, groundwater, desalination, and the agricultural modern irrigation networks.
