Dr. Abdelaziz Foul is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at King Saud University.
He earned his Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the United States.
Dr. Foul's research interests include operations research, optimal control models, and their applications in public health. Notably, he has co-authored studies such as "A dynamic optimal control model for COVID-19 and cholera co-infection in Yemen" and "COVID-19 and Rumors: A Dynamic Nested Optimal Control Model," which explore the use of dynamic optimal control models in managing disease outbreaks.
In addition to his research, Dr. Foul teaches courses in operations research, including OPER 213 (Linear Programming), OPER 385 (Decision and Game Theory), and OPER 441 (Simulation Techniques).
His office is located in Room AB 23 on the ground floor of the College of Sciences at King Saud University, and he can be contacted via email at abdefoul@ksu.edu.sa.
