In this course, normal anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the respiratory system are presented and discussed. Physical assessment of respiratory system and various basic diagnostic techniques are also included. The role of physiotherapy in acute and chronic respiratory disease and how to manage patients post thoracic surgery will be discussed.
