Course Objectives
- Provide students with knowledge and skills they need to become competent in midwifery clinical specialization.
- Reflect basic knowledge of research science to be utilized in the delivery of health care for women in different midwifery clinical settings.
- Identify theory and principles underlying the organizational behavior that improve the delivery of midwifery care provided to services consumers.
- Elaborate requirement delegation and supervision of practice in different midwifery setting.
- Identifying appropriate nursing theories in supporting and teaching midwives to function effectively.
- Utilize concept and principles derived from the course as a body of knowledge for practicing in different Midwifery.
- Utilize Evidence based and strategic approaches to leadership resource and change management and the promotion of successful multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team working.
- Apply the appropriate knowledge and skills in order to meet professional judgment recognize the limit of practice.
- Utilize principles of communication, counselling, anticipatory guidance to deal with mothers and their family in different midwifery settings.
- Read with comprehension, be critical of what they read, and knowledge gained to real life situations.
- Communicate ideas clearly and proficiently in writing and speaking.
