introduction/brief CV

I received my bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences from King Saud University in 2002. My career began at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, where I worked as a pharmacist before transitioning to an academic role as a teaching assistant at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. In pursuit of further education, I moved to the United States, earning my Pharm.D. from North Dakota State University in 2007 and my PhD in Pharmacogenomics, with a minor in Human Genetics, from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2012.

Upon returning to the Clinical Pharmacy Department at King Saud University, I actively contributed to various committees at both the college and university levels. From 2013 to 2015, I served as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, I took on the role of a full-time consultant and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Pharmacy, Almaarefa University.
