IT426: Intelligent Systems

This course introduces students to the wide field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its use to solve real-world problems. Topics covered will include foundation principles of Artificial Intelligence, namely Intelligent agents, problem-solving, game playing, knowledge representation and reasoning, uncertainty, and machine learning. Students will be trained to tackle different real-world problems with AI tools and techniques. Upon completion of this course, students should understand what impact AI is making on society.
