Introduction to Occupational Therapy RHS 201
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will present the history and development of occupational therapy as an independent profession. The importance of occupational therapy will be highlighted in the context of modern comprehensive healthcare services. The theoretical component will also focus on the philosophy and structure of occupational therapy. Efforts will be made to expose the students to various existing practice settings. An attempt will be made to understand the different factors that influence the health, health care and occupational therapy practice.
