International Health Systems

The purpose of this course is to compare between different health systems in order to teach students the main characteristics of healthcare systems. Students gain the knowledge and skills required to analyze and improve healthcare systems. By the end of this course, the students will be able to familiarize with both the present state of substantive knowledge in the field of comparative health care systems, Initiate them to engage in research on the current models used, have a better understanding of how health care systems are constructed, the political, economic, multicultural, social and historical contexts of their development, and the outcomes of each system on various segments of the society.
