RHS 467 - Introduction to Alternative Communication

The course describes augmentative and alternative communication systems used by individuals with moderate to severe speech and writing developmental and acquired disabilities. The course covers planning and administration of appropriate assessment and intervention for AAC users considering characteristics of AAC users including their communication modes.
