Dr. Anwar Khursheed is Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA. He served as Professor of Environmental Engineering, Coordinator of AMU off Campus Centers, AMU Aligarh. He holds the position of Vice-Chairman AMU Alumni Affairs Committee. He is former Director of the Computer Centre, Principal, FCI, University Engineer (Building Department) and Nodal Officer of the Camus-wide Networking Project (Wi-Fi Project). He did his under graduate and master’s programme from AMU and PhD from IIT Roorkee. He possesses teaching and research experience of about 39 years. He was involved in many design and consultancy projects out of which 46 were major. He is mainly teaching subjects related to Environmental & Pollution Control Engineering. His research areas are Wastewater Treatment, Energy Recovery from Waste, Nutrient Removal, and Reverse osmosis. He has published more than 85 Research Papers, Books and Articles in various International and National journals and conferences. Some of the journals in which his articles have been published are Water Research (Elsevier), Chemical Engineering Journal (Elsevier), Desalination (Taylor & Francis), Environ Monit Assess. (SpringerLink), Water Sc. Technology (IWA), Resources, Conservation and Recycling (Elsevier), Journal of env Engg - ASCE, Chemosphere etc. He is reviewer of all the above mentioned international journals. He has completed large number of projects including Campus-wide Networking on 10 Gigabyte OFC backbone & Camus Wi-Fi projects.
