Bilateral interpreting - Class work and assessment

2 mid-terms 25% each + assignments 10%

 Dates of mid-terms:

Mid-term 1 according to your class= Sat. 9 , Sun. 10 or Wed. 13/ 3/ 2013

Mid-term 2 = according to your class= Sat. 20 , Sun. 21 or Wed. 24/ 4/ 2013

Weekly assignment

1. Parapgrase into English audiovisual materials (interview, talk show, press conference, report, etc.) and record your summary.
2. In a few lines, write down what your material is about.
3. Bring your written summary to class; you may be asked to make a short presentation on the topic.
4. Keep the recordings and the written summaries (at least 10 assignments) in a file to be collected and discussed towards the end of the semester (from Sat. 4 to Wed. 8/5/2013).
5. Note that all assignments are from English into English!
