Prof. Ahmad Aboshaiqah is a full Professor in the College of Nursing in King Saud University. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration and his Master in Health & Hospital Administration at king Saud University. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and his Master of Science in Health Systems Management at George Mason University in Fairfax Virginia, USA. He continued his professional education and accomplished his PhD Degree in Nursing at Wayne State University-College of Nursing in Detroit, USA.
Prof. Aboshaiqah is an advocate of several mechanisms in education that support students’ and clinicians’ active-research roles with evidence-based merits. His research interests include patient safety, quality of nursing care, nursing education, and nursing professionalism. His latest studies have been published in national and international journals with high impact factors. His professional and teaching experiences include practices and careers in medical and nursing management, ambulatory care, nursing education, and clinical nursing practice.
Prof. Aboshaiqah was the chairman of Nursing Scientific Board at SCFHS and was the dean of the college of nursing at king Saud University since 2014 to 2018. Also he was the supervisor of health and medical programs accreditation in NCAAA (National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation) at Education Evaluation Commission.

Prof. Aboshaiqah is first Saudi promoted as full professor in nursing.
