تختبر الدراسة ميدانياً نظام تثبيت سرعة تكيفياً تعاونياً اقتصادياً يحسب مسارات موفرة للوقود قرب الإشارات الضوئية، في تجربة مضبوطة على طريق الاختبار الذكي. ونفذ 32 سائقاً (18–30 سنة) 1536 رحلة في ثلاثة سيناريوهات: قيادة عادية، وإرشاد يدوي للسرعة، وتحكم آلي، على اقترابات صاعدة وهابطة. وخفض النظام استهلاك الوقود بشكل ملحوظ، خاصة في الاقترابات الهابطة.

English summary

An Eco-Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control system that computes fuel-efficient trajectories near signalized intersections was implemented and tested in a controlled field experiment on the Smart Road test facility. Thirty-two drivers aged 18–30 completed 1,536 trips under normal driving, a manual speed-advisory mode and automated control, on uphill and downhill approaches. The system reduced fuel consumption substantially, especially on downhill approaches.

تختبر الدراسة ميدانياً نظاماً يضبط سرعة المركبة بالتنسيق مع الإشارات المرورية. وتقارن القيادة العادية والإرشاد للسائق والتحكم الآلي من حيث الوقود وزمن الرحلة.

A controlled road experiment evaluates speed control coordinated with traffic signals. Manual advice and automated control are compared with ordinary driving using fuel and travel-time measures.
