Research activities in electrospun nanofibrous membranes for membrane distillation were showcased through a poster presentation and prototype demonstration at the King Saud University Conference on Sustainable Development on April 6–7, 2026. The work demonstrated an innovative membrane distillation configuration designed to support energy-efficient desalination and sustainable water treatment, highlighting the translation of advanced membrane research into a practical prototype.
